Treating chronic pain and helping you better understand and manage ongoing pain is our speciality. The use of Regenerative medicine is one of a few treatments we can offer to provide pain relief and get you back to feeling like yourself again.

As leading regenerative medicine practitioners, our Private Pain Unit can help regrow and replace damaged organs and tissue. Regenerative medicine uses the last technology to help trauma and post-operative patients in their recovery journey.

Regenerative medicine focuses on the body's natural ability to heal itself. Treatments are designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing process by relying on tailored treatments. Regenerative medicine usually requires the extraction of a sample of blood or other body parts which is used to create a personalised treatment.

Our Regenerative services include:

  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
  • Stem Cell Therapy
  • Lipogems

What is PRP?

Used to help repair damage to soft tissue, PRP involves removing some blood, concentrating this down into a plasma solution and reinjecting this into the damaged tissue. This form of orthopaedic therapy helps your body naturally regenerate and heal itself without the need for surgery. The med(24) team is qualified to offer this alongside Stem Cell Therapy.

What is Stem Cell Therapy?

For intense trauma and severe damage, our clinicians are qualified to provide stem cell therapy. Stem cells can be injected into damaged areas to replicate and grow into healthy tissue. We can provide on-site stem cell extraction and injection in a calm and relaxing environment for maximum results. We can provide this treatment in conjunction with PRP therapy.

What are Lipogems?

A safe, minimally-invasive procedure that involves removing fat cells from areas of the body. The cells are then treated with the lipogems process and reinjected into the body to aid healing and speed up recovery.

What Conditions Can Regenerative Medical Treatments Help With?

Regenerative medicine like PRP, stem cell therapy and lipogems can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Arthritis
  • Muscle strain
  • Sports injury
  • Torn muscles
  • Back Pain
  • Neck Pain
  • Joint displacement
  • Ligament tears

Our expert consulting team will examine your condition carefully before recommending the best course of treatment. In some cases, we might recommend combining several treatments for the best result.

Why Consider Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative medical treatments are less invasive than surgical intervention. The result is a faster recovery period that lets you get on with your life. We offer full-service care and support, so you get results without needing painful and sometimes unnecessary surgery and hospitalisation.

Regenerative medical practices are at the forefront of medical innovation and knowledge. Each treatment is designed for you to help your body repair and heal naturally. This allows you to get the best results possible for long-term relief from symptoms. Without invasive procedures, regenerative treatments offer a lower risk of complications and further health risks.

How do they work?

There is a wide range of various different pain relief injections available, each with their own subset of specific uses to help treat and ultimately relieve pain in a given area. Typically, a steroid medication is injected to deliver a powerful anti-inflammatory solution directly to the area causing pain.

For example; a typical steroid injection, when injected into a joint or muscle, the steroids reduce redness and swelling (inflammation) in the nearby area. This can help relieve stiffness, soreness and overall chronic discomfort.

A few injections you would tend to see associated with pain management are as follows;

  • Sacroiliac Joint Injection
  • Occipital Nerve Injection
  • Facet Joint Injections
  • Epidural Steroid Injection
  • Peripheral Nerve Injections
  • Coeliac Plexus Block
  • Intravenous Regional Analgesia
What are Pain Relief Injections?

As by their given name, pain relief injections are for pain relief. Injections can be more effective than an oral medication because they deliver medication directly to the exact anatomic location that is generating the pain.
